between blogger problems and working late and on weekends have not had much time for blogging but wanted to drop in some quotes:
Me: Chubbocks, it's mother's day. Where's my present?
Chubbocks ( sweetly): My love is your present, mamma.
**********************************************************
Me: Chubbocks( who is lately much interested in discussing and acting like a tornado), if you spin that hard, your pp will fly off. How will you do susu?
Chubbocks: With my bum!
**********************************************************
Me: Chubbocks, I scold you quite a bit sometimes. Do you still love me?
Chubbocks: It's ok, you're my mamma, na.
**********************************************************
Me: Puddi, don't drop that water ( pani nahin giraao)
Puddi ( just starting terrible twos): Gilaaoonga!
**********************************************************
Me: Puddi, nahin karo!
Puddi: Kaloonga!
**********************************************************
Me - brushing out Puddi's hair before she goes to the park
Puddi speaking her first sentence: Alley, mujhe lagaalahe ho! ( Arrey, You're hurting me)

Kiddy talk is just so adorable!! I especially love the 'tutlana' by these little babies! :D
too adorable..
BTW- one queston.. your blog feed kept showing a poost called " the answer to the riddle" and I could not see it on your blog though.. any idea why?
Awww!
LMAO @ Puddi's first ever sentence. ALL my girl pals and I share memories of having the hair nearly yanked out of our scalps by our mommies :)
(I'll thank Mom for it though. As long as she was alive, I had three times the hair I have now)
My that Chubbocks is one diplomatic little fella, isn't he? Are you sure he didn't learn the 'my love is your present' line from A? Sounds like a very husband thing to say :-p
And Puddi! Boy I can so relate - the phrases I hear most often from Moppet these days:
'I making, I making!' meaning I'll do it myself and
'I said NO!' whenever anyone presses her to do something she's already refused.
so cute !
LOL, Had to lol at Chubbock's first dialog, he's growing up to be a wiley little man, already squirming his way out of gifts huh?
~nm - yeah, I love the tutlana and the words they get wrong - I don't bother correcting because I figure all too soon they'll be speaking properly anyway.
Daisy - I've been having problems with blogger - it deleted two posts when I said post and said nothing had been saved. I've been incredibly busy at work so if it doesn't post the first time, I give up!
Suki,
You gotta meet my talkative brats! The thing is Puddi hates getting her clothes changed/ hair and teeth brushed. She'd rather be busy running around.
Maggie - Chubs really has a glib tongue, huh? No he didn't learn that line from A - A loves giving presents. And Puddi's also at that stage where she insists on doing everything herself. I have a feeling her twos are going to be more terrible than Chubbocks'!
Thanks Swati.
Poppins - Yeah, he's a smooth-talking little rascel!
bah. all smooth talkers like their fathers :)
